5 months

I don't think I've had a real good picture of Aaron for a while. He's a fast moving target, and when he finally does say "cheese" for the picture, he gets this horrible squinting smile.

Jordan is 5 months old today. He is starting to drool and put everything in his mouth. He can sit by himself for very short periods of time. He is all smiles. He is definitely an angel baby. The only exception is when it comes to eating. He's got a stubborn streak. He is still refusing to take a bottle and will go hungry for up to 8 hours, so Paolo has to bring him into work every single time I work (which is 3 times a week).
We were getting ready for a Halloween Party, and Aaron to hug his brother. Aaron loves holding/hugging his little brother. It really just looks like a wrestling match, but Jordan laughs and seems to love it. So we let Aaron "love" his brother under strict supervision.

All smiles this little one!

4 months old

We went to the Utah State Fair the first day it opened. It only costs $2 the first day! Aaron loved all of the animals. He kept trying to feed them the hay that was under them. Not one single animal appreciated Aaron's efforts to share. :)
I chopped my hair off (12 plus inches) because I was sick of it getting yanked on every time I held Jordan. This is the only shot I have of it. Aaron was hugging the goat. I think it was the only one that would get anywhere close to my son. He's over exuberant with his love for animals most of the time.

This is Aaron playing in Jordan's crib. Aaron likes to think that it's a trampoline.

My baby is now 4 months old and it's going WAY too fast. He started rolling from his back to his stomach at 3 months and 5 days. He has not stopped moving and wiggling since then. He is also always smiling and happy except when he has a poopy diaper. He's such a pleasant baby.

Aaron has decided that he absolutely loves his little brother to death. He likes to lay next to him everywhere- under the hanging toys, in the crib, on the floor, wherever Jordan happens to be. Aaron is suprisingly soft for a rambunctious 2 year old and doesn't squish him too bad when he tries to hold Jordan or play with him. It's such a nice change from when we first brought Jordan home from the hospital. I think Aaron was trying to set a record for who could scream the longest and loudest in a day.

I love these boys!

Bowling

We went bowling this weekend. It was Aaron's first time. Admittedly he's still way too small, but he had fun anyway. There were a few times that the ball got stuck half way down the lane and someone had to go get it.
This is my happy boy!

Jordan has started rolling over and scooting. He just turned 3 months old! I'm going to have my hands full.

Jordan 3 months old

Aaron's best little friend is Roberto. Roberto's mom is from Italy too. We like hanging out with the kids. They decided that they wanted to play in the water, so we let them go in their underwear. Aaron loves his little buddy.

Jordan is 3 months old now! He is now wearing his 6 months clothes. He is turning into a fun little baby. He just starting laughing, and there's nothing so beautiful as your baby laughing. He's trying to roll over, but fortunately with no success yet.

What's he thinking?

Way to use your muscles bud!

Jordan's Blessing

The boys are both growing like weeds! Aaron is going through shoes like Jordan is going through clothes- non-stop. They keep getting bigger and bigger.

We blessed Jordan the first Sunday in August. I used the same outfit that I used for Aaron when he was blessed. Jordan fit in it a lot better because he was a little older than when we blessed Aaron.

Jordan is all smiles and cooing like crazy. This is such a fun stage. He is definitely an angel baby. He's started sleeping through the night, and is a very low-key baby. He is just so happy most of the time. He's definitely not as high strung as his brother.

We had a wind storm a week ago, and our neighbors tree fell into our yard and broke our fence. Thank goodness that it didn't land on our house!

We had some friends from Bologna visiting this last weekend. We went to a Bee's baseball game. Paolo knows this friend (Labo) from baseball. We had really good seats and a lot of fun. Thanks for coming to visit us Labo, Patti, Filippo, and Matteo! This picture is Aaron with Filippo.

You can't go to a baseball game without enjoying a hot dog!

Bargain Shopping

Aaron is trying to watch TV. So he's trying to look around me standing in his way. He's 100% Minson in that sense- can't get his eyes off the TV.

This is my latest bargain buy. I can't help buying something if I can get it for a steal. Paolo hates it when I say I stopped by a garage sale. He always groans and asks "what is it that you bought this time?" in an exasperated voice. "Something else we don't need?" I then try to justify why all of a sudden we desperately need whatever I got for a really good deal. This pirate outfit is the latest of my garage sale shopping. Price: $2.00 . Who couldn't resist? I've been avoiding garage sales lately, but this one was a mega garage sale in the parking lot of a grocery store where I went shopping about 2 weeks ago.
Jordan wasn't as crazy about the outfit. In another two years that might change. Last week we had the stomach flu go around the house. First Aaron, then me, then Paolo, then me again. Jordan managed to escape the nasty bug. I've done unknown amounts of laundry and cleaning of my house with Lysol to get rid the bug at my house. We're all much better now.

Aaron's new things are putting on all kinds of stray shoes, usually boots. His favorite are yellow rain boots. This time it was two different kinds of winter boots (both female). His other newest thing is he LOOOOOOOVES to strip down to nothing. He's learned how to take off his pants and underwear. He is faster than lightning. He strips and runs for it. He's usually streaking around our yard in the nude. I honestly dress him more than 10 times a day. Who knows what the neighbors think of us. And honestly, I don't care too much what they do say. I'm just worried about how long it takes him to do it in nursery. That'll be quite the story to tell his children.
Jordan had his two month check up yesterday. He went from 40th percentile to 78% in both weight and height. He's growing like a weed!!! 13 lbs 6 oz. We love this bundle of joy.

This is Jordan at 7 1/2 weeks. He's started to coo and smile, and be a lot of fun when he does. Aaron now loves to hold his brother, and I've got to be very careful that he doesn't do it by himself.

Aaron holding Jordan's hand.

My smiley boy at 6:00 a.m.

My mom just bought us a trampoline (for Aaron's b-day. We finally got around to buying it and setting it up). Aaron LOVES it! Thanks for the great b-day present Nonna.

Aaron's favorite thing to do: play with sticks and dirt, and eat both of them as much as possible.
